“Heading to the airport this morning, flying to Poland to experience the shadows left of a once vibrant jewish existence there. May we finally learn this generation how to love and tolerate each other so we can all thrive and fulfill our unique missions here. May we find a way to be heard without war, pain and strife.”

The photo above is of a few women traveling to Poland today. It was a long journey but approximately half of our group have arrived. Already amazing moments have taken place and I’m hoping to share stories of others very soon.

My experience, after boarding the plane, has been nothing of positive! I sat next to two amazing Polish Americans that were kind, open, and amazing conversationalist. The city of Warsaw is beautiful. 15 of the early arrivals met for a delicious meal, and are staying at the beautiful doubletree hotel.

Tomorrow is a new day and I will keep my eyes wide open.
