Who:
The Portland Kollel Thailand Experience is recommended for women 26 years and older, from either the Greater Portland area or other partnering cities. While there is no recommended upper age limit, the Thailand Experience does involve hikes, swimming in natural water sources and adventure activities. If you have any health concerns, please make us aware so we can ensure you will not have any hardship with the trip. Additionally, please consult your physician about the itinerary.

When:
The trip begins with the group meet-up in Bangkok, Thailand on Monday evening, March 11th.
There is no official group flight.

It is very important to arrive in Bangkok by Monday evening at 8 pm. Although less expensive tickets arriving on Tuesday morning might be available, we strongly encourage participants not to take those flights. This is arranged deliberately in order to avoid exhaustion that would prevent the group from fully appreciating the experience.

Acceptance:
Initial registration opens Sunday, August 19th. Apply at that time with no commitment whatsoever. Further interviews for acceptance may be required. 

We anticipate acceptance correspondence to be communicated the first week of September.

Cost:
The trip cost is $2,379 + flight.

Following acceptance, there will be a $50 processing fee, and an additional non-refundable /non-transferable $250 deposit fee to proceed with registration.  


This $250 deposit fee will be applied to the total trip cost at a time of payment.


(Please note, these fees are applied immediately towards expenses and are viewed as a firm commitment. We will be unable to refund the money despite the reason for cancelation).


All payment will need to be submitted 6 weeks prior to the trip (Sunday, January 27th 2019).
