I have been on a recent JWRP trip to Israel with Eve Levy and the Portland Kollel. It was the most amazing experience of my life. It gave me the time away that I needed to refocus on life and on what is important. To me, being a Jewish women is super important but I don't think I knew it until I was away from everday life. Taking the time away and then jumping back in makes you want to be the better person that you know you could be but are distracted from being.
