What is the Poland-Israel Journey?
The Poland-Israel Journey is an 8 day trip through Poland and Israel - exploring the heart-stirring sites of Jewish trial and triumph on a quest to discover the indestructible spirit and strength of our people.
Trip Dates
The trip leaves the Warsaw airport at 3pm on Monday May 15th and leaves to Israel on Thursday May 18th in the evening.
The trip leaves Tel Aviv to return to the USA on Tuesday May 23rd on flights departing between 1am and 5:30am.
Trip Leaders
The trip will be led by Eve Levy of the Portland Kollel.
In Poland the trip will be led by Mrs. Chana Silver of Nesivos Tours. Chana, who hails from Memphis, Tennessee, is a popular teacher of varied subjects at several schools in Jerusalem, as well as a lecturer for Aish Hatorah's Discovery Programs. Mrs. Silver is the head tour leader for Legacy/Nesivos trips to Poland and Eastern Europe.
Trips Costs
The cost for residents of Portland, OR is $1799 plus $40 application fee, tips and airfare. This price includes:
- 4-5 star hotels (double occupancy)

Flights
The flight from Warsaw to Tel Aviv will be a group booking made by the tour (to ensure that we are on the same flight together) and will cost $200.
Participants can book their own flights from the USA to Poland and from Israel to the USA.

Application Process
Complete the application form on this page and submit the $40 application fee.
We will reach out to applicants within 5 days of the application being submitted with more information and to set up an interview with Eve Levy.
Payment Information
The $40 application fee is payable during the application process.
A $500 non-refundable deposit fee is required within 7 days of acceptance in order to ensure placement.
The balance of the funds ($1299) plus $40 tips and the $200 for the group ticket from Warsaw to Tel Aviv must be paid by January 15th 2016.
